Over the summer prior to university, I have set myself a project. Finishing the Art Foundation Diploma, I feel that I wanted to further explore the uncertainty and ‘wonder’ of history through illustration. Something which has initially come to mind was the history surrounding King Richard III. When he was dug up from under a carpark  a few years ago, I was fascinated to find that he suffered from scoliosis; something which many had previously believed to be only a part of Tudor propaganda. His bones supplied us with proof, but we may never know the truth about other stories surrounding the supposedly evil King.
